Quickest Flight To Australia

soon as 25 years. Scientists from Reaction Engines Limited think they have the solution with an engine capable of cruising at Mach 5 (5 times the speed of sound). Not only this but it's an enviromentally friendly solution
(relative to todays aircraft) as it uses liquid hydrogen for fuel. Setting of from the UK you would travel up over the North Pole and then down the Pacific arriving in Australia only 5 hours later.

Hang on to your hat. Projections are that a flight on the new A2 Mach 5 Plane would cost little more than today's business class tickets. So from 22 hours to 5 hours all for the same price with much less enviromental impact,
